Today's the last day I'm using my very first TAWG journal.
And I look back and I can see how much I've grown in this 11 months.
Seriously, time flies.
It seemed like EMERGE camp was only yesterday!
But far from yesterday, it's nearly year!
And in this year so much has happened.
Very very rocky, full of ups and downs.
But I've also found my faith and my identity in God and learnt to trust God when something happens beyond my own human understanding.
Because Exodus 14:14 says "The Lord will fight for you; You need only to be still."
This verse spoke to me the most when my dad was in hospital. I remember hearing Ms Wong talk about it on a Friday dedication service, then on Saturday my dad was admitted into hospital (and by then I totally forgot about Ex 14:14), and then on Sunday I went on MSN and saw Benn's personal message- "Exodus 14:14 The Lord will fight for you; You need only to be still" and I was so touched. Ms Wong explained the context of the verse (Ex 14:13) about the Egyptians, which in a modern day context would be like the burdens and worries we carry.
Even after so long, I am still amazed at the power of God! (:
Well I had better get ready for church so I can pick Charlene at 4.40pm at the bus stop, then go and find Amanda Choo and Janne outside the chapel at 4.45pm! What an exciting day xD
