I think it's super cool! The first movement is 11 pages I think. Sigh. I've only learnt 2 and one-quarter pages! Considering I've played everyday of this week, that's terrible!
Hahaha. But my mum seems surprisingly pleased with my 'progress'..

Oh and I think Mozart is duper talented. I was playing the twinkle twinkle little stars theme and variation (btw if you didn't know, Mozart wrote twinkle twinkle little stars as a theme and he wrote a huge set of variations together with it when he was 5 years old!)
My mum told me to sightread it until the minore variation. Hahaha.. It was okay.. But I made some mistakes and obviously played very slowly so the variation with all the semiquavers sounded duper weird. Hahaha. It's an ATCL piece! I can't believe it's supposed to be the same standard as the Pathetic Sonata. (Okay fine, the hard bits are in the later parts...) BUT STILL I THINK MOZART IS LIKE TOTALLY AMAZING. IMAGINE, 5 YEARS OLD. And he used suspensions and stuff, and I think he was like this super genius brainiac whatever thing. DUPER PRO! But hahaha that doesn't mean I like Mozart's works. I don't really like them 'cos I think they're quite shallow... Hahaha. But what do I expect, 5 years old! hahahahaha.
Oh and my mum is amazing. She intends to send me for ATCL next year and Dip ABRSM the year after. And all I can play now is 2.25 pages of the Pathetic Sonata? *faints* The whole song is like dunno-how-many pages? The first movement itself is already 11 pages. And she wants me to play Toccata in Em and Debussy Prelude and Fugue... Something like that. If you haven't realised, she's 'cheating'. She chose the Dip ABRSM songs approved for ATCL. HAHAHA. So that means I'll be playing the same stuff for 2 years. Wow. HAHAHA.
I can't believe I'm supposed to take ATCL NEXT YEAR. *screams* Goodness. I think my grade8 in 4 months boosted my mum's ego terribly. But the 4 months were like TERRIBLE. I played like 4h a day and was left with no homework time? Okay it wasn't THAT bad hahaha you know why? It was term 1. And anyway if I didn't play piano, I would have played comp. SO no diff. Heehee. BUT ATCL IS LIKE TOTALLY A DIFFERENT STORY THE SONGS ARE SO FREAKING LONG!
Okay I had better finish reading my chinese thing.. (I didn't do it yesterday so my mum's making me do today..)
