Whoa whoa WHAT A DAY. Ok to begin with, let me tell you guys I'm fasting. I'm supposed to be fasting for about 30 days. And I'm fasting from blogging, using unnecessary internet and SMSes. So why then, am I here? Ok because I think as you should know, the things I blog about are mainly about God, so why do I want to stop myself from glorifying God if I'm FASTING? (which is to like draw closer to God right?) So yes I will blog about the impactful things today.
My dad was admitted to hospital because he might have some gastric thing. And I got worried. Because it would be quite dangerous if his hemoglobin count was low. At the present it's ok, but tests are being conducted to check that the count is not going down. And YES. It's Saturday. I went to church. I was a little late because my mum and I couldn't get a taxi and had to take bus last minute. But what I missed was not significant compared to what I received from God today. We sang the song "Mighty to save", which was quite comforting (: The sermon was about hope & faith (so apt right?) and when that was over, halfway during altar call, Pastor Gary said,"I sense in my spirit that some of you here today might have relatives like your mum or dad unwell, or maybe you yourself are sick. Come to the altar." I believe in God, but that was shocking. In my years of attending church I think that was the 3rd/4th time I heard it. And I was for me. So I went up and prayed for my dad. (:
I missed FUEL because my mum & I wanted to visit my dad. We waited ages of a taxi but one nice Merce finally came and picked us! I told you his condition already so I won't talk about that. When my mum and I went to pick up the car (which my dad drove there earlier on), I checked my SMS. I had told this friend to pick up my notes and my friend's notes but this person was unable to get the stuff for us. Anyway, I received an SMS and it said something like "Today's FUEL was about miracles. God is a God of miracles....." and there was this prayer-sounding thing. It was so cool! I was thinking, "Whooa. I didn't go for FUEL but still received the message. (: Yea if you're reading this, xiexie (:
So, this is what I wanted to blog about. I think I won't fast from blogging, but I won't read blogs (not even my own tags.) So I won't reply you tags ok. And if you believe in God, keep my dad in prayer. Will update.
